Abiodun E. Ilesanmi is the director at Higherground Consulting Ltd. He is a seasoned financial analyst, accountant with deep understanding of UK tax laws and processes. Mr Ilesanmi has over ten years’ experience spanning personal and corporate tax advisory, financial control, performance management, Fraud/AML Investigations, Audit and compliance.

Prior to his current role as director, Accountant and senior tax adviser. He was at different times, Audit and compliance Consultant at Lloyds Banking Group, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group, Fraud/AML investigator specialist at TSB Bank Plc, Revenue Officer and Personal tax advisor at HM Revenue & Customs, Relief Accounts Manager at UBA Capital Africa Ltd, Financial Control and Performance Management Officer at United Bank for Africa Plc and Accounts Assistant at Addis Engineering Ltd.

Mr Ilesanmi holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) from the University of Dundee, Scotland, BA(Hons) in Accounting with specialism in Finance from The University of Derby and MBA in Finance from Anglia Ruskin University, England, United Kingdom.

He is a Certified Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and full member of The Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT). Mr Ilesanmi is a Licensed Accountant to engage in Public Practice in the United Kingdom.

Mr Ilesanmi also Holds several certifications including Financial Modelling, Anti-Money Laundering, Professional Ethics amongst others.
